The Going-To-The-Sun Road is a spectacular road that winds through the high country of Glacier National Park, along very precipitous slopes. A cold and stormy day, the peaks were enshrouded in clouds, giving everything an ethereal, gray appearance.

Waterfalls thundered off the glaciers, tunneling under snow and then emerging again some distance down the mountain.

It opened very late this year, much later than the usual June opening. We drove up shortly after the road opened.
